Antisemitism continues to rise. Our organization, Jewish Upstanders, guides parents, youth and grandparents in safely standing up to and speaking out against antisemitism, bullying, bias, name-calling and hate. Teaching youth and families effective strategies, our Countering Antisemitism & Hate Guidebook builds on a foundation of Jewish identity and pride to encourage Upstander strategies that are safe for families and religious school classrooms.

In recent years and especially post October 7, we have seen an increase in anti-Semitic incidents, whether they’re verbal, vandalism or, G-d forbid, violence. Unfortunately there is an endless need to teach this, pushing back against antisemitism safely with our students. This is why we decided to support our students.   – Rabbi Amy Memis-Foler, Congregation Adath Emanu-El
